Jayco's Jay Flight travel trailers have been "green certified", making Jayco one of the first RV manufacturers recognized for building products with green manufacturing processes and materials. The Jay Flight received a Gold-Rated green certification from TRA Certification Inc., an internationally accredited certification organization.
Among other things, Jayco was cited for its use of sustainable materials, waste reduction and recycling programs, reduction of harmful volatile compounds found in RV components such as carpeting, wood parts, adhesives, etc., installation of efficient appliances and fixtures, use of energy-efficient design and construction and utilization of renewable, clean energy.
